I didn’t know your name until now. You and your wife came to subway often and I can’t remember your sub but I remember hers (seafood) I always loved seeing you two in public together, you could tell you were in love always. RIP sir.

I am ashamed that I missed your Passing Tunk. You were one of the most interesting men I have known. I remember your fathers business next to the railroad tracks on Miner st. And our many talks when you came to visit my uncle Clarence Warner on outer Miner St road across the bridge. My wife Marg and I took care of Uncle Clarence from Friday night until Sunday night for several years after Uncle Homer Warner passed away unexpectedly. I was the Tecnical Director at Griffiss AFB during that time, and took the long drive back and forth so Uncle Clarnce could spend his last days at his home. You came every day to talk over the past with us. You were a very special man to us Tunk and will not be forgotten, ever. You are in a peaceful place now please take care of Clarence for me, you always picked up his spirits.

My condolences to your family, When Tunk would see my dad or myself alone he would always refer to us as "crack in the bush"; if we where together it was "ducks a pair" always with a smile!!

My condolences to the family. We've lost a great man. He always called me "Doc", although my father Harry was the physician. He always had a pleasant demeanor.
I remember many years ago, I got the contract to paint the Village barn. The North side had few windows and a pretty straight shot. The problem for me was the height. I had to make a high pass with my spray gun from a ladder and then finish the lower section from the ground. I had just started, when Tunk came along and offered his assistance. He grabbed a front end loader, I hopped in the bucket and we had the side done in record time!!!!!

Very sorry to hear about Tunk's passing. Such a great memory of mine is that whenever my dad needed Tunk to dig a cellar for him, dad and I would hop in the car and go find him on a job somewhere. Tunk always called me "the boss" when I was about 6 or 7. When Ron thinks of Tunk, he remembers that he always called him "spaghetti bender". Thinking of you...
