Linda,
I watched this again after more than a year.
Why? Why are you gone?
Throughout these photos I see recurrent joy in,your eyes, especially with Lily. You are a hero in my eyes because you saved her. You will forever be with me and with the cats I have rescued. You were an inspiration. As I head toward my own long journey, I will not forget you.
Love,
Cori

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of this wonderful woman with whom I attended Canton high school. My condolences go out to the entire family. She was always such a positive, caring, and considerate person. We had some fun times together that I will always remember and cherish. I pray that she is at peace now and feeling nothing but God's love that she deserves.

My youngest sister sent me this sad news about Linda's death. I want to send my condolences to Linda's family, and my prayers that where Linda is now, she has no pain or limitations. I was in one of Linda's first classes at Cornwall Central, and we all fell in love with her. She was "our" Miss Boise, and I know I was not alone in my happiness when years later, we reconnected through social media and caught up. No matter how ill she was, she was always interested in what our families were doing, how our children were growing, and of course, what our dogs were up to! Her strength and spirit remain truly inspirational, and it was an honor to be taught by Linda and to share our lives as adults a bit. I am sorry for your loss (and Lilly's), and will remember her fondly, always.

Linda and I taught on the same instructional team at Willow Avenue Middle School in Cornwall, New York, at the beginning of her teaching career, before she moved to the high school. She always demonstrated perfect judgement, being serious enough to ensure that we fulfilled our responsibilities, but humorous enough so that it was pleasurable doing so. They were halcyon days when we were young and well, and life was simpler. I'm confident that heaven will be like that for Linda...or she will restructure the New Jerusalem until it is. Rest in peace, Linda. Agape, Art Abels

My Deepest Sympathies; I know its hard for us to say goodbye as once again another loved one has joined our Father in heaven. My heart goes out to the Family and Friends who Loved and Cared for Linda. I wish you all Peace of Mind and Joy in your hearts as the memories and love we have all shared with her flow. I was lucky to be part of her life for 13 yrs. A Journey for sure. Lily (aka) The Devil Dog who tore things to bits as a puppy turned out to be Priceless. For Linda and Lily became inseparable. Now they will be foever together with the rest of the family Forever in the Light and Joy with Jesus. Amen. Kisses and Hugs to you all!! Lots of Love From Ginger and Brenda Ashley

rebecccaleighToday my heart breaks after hearing my wonderful Aunt Linda has passed away, joining both her parents in heaven. She's the first of her 7 siblings, including her twin sister, to move on. She was a loving, fun, amazing Aunt who always spoiled me with a tablespoon of brown sugar (my favorite desert as a child) and promptly sent me home to drive my parents nuts on my sugar high She taught me all about getting my nails done right and wearing makeup (shhhh my mom never knew) She was an amazing teacher who touched so many others during her lifetime. Compared to the rest of our large Italian family members, she may have been the least crazy?? Love you to the moon and back, Aunt Linda. We shall celebrate your life! Say hi to grandma and grandpa for me.
