William "Fay" Barnes, 67, of 37 Riverside Drive, Canton, died Friday, April 21, 2017, at the home of his sister, Twila Hayes.
Fay was born August 17, 1949, in Potsdam, NY the son of the late William & Marion (Richardson) Barnes. He graduated Potsdam High School and served in the US Navy during Vietnam from 1967-1973.
Among his survivors are his three sisters, Twila Hayes, Cindy Sheldon and Marilyn Kingston; two sons, Eric and Jody and two granddaughters.
Graveside services will be held privately in Crary Mills Cemetery with Military Honors provided by VFW Post #1231 Canton.
