Candice "Candy" Johnston, 60, of 5 School Street, DeKalb, died unexpectedly June 4, 2014, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, while awaiting a procedure. Calling hours will be Monday, June 9th from 11:30 am to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home, Canton. Graveside services will be held privately in East DeKalb Cemetery. Candy was born April 8, 1954 in Ogdensburg, a daughter of the late Richard J. and Marleen (Bice) Morrow. She was a graduate of Canton High School and Mater Dei College in Ogdensburg. Candy is survived by her husband, Robert Johnston, DeKalb Jct.; three sons, Richard St. Germain and fiancé Denis Gilbo of Ogdensburg, Jason St. Germain and wife Denise of Ogdensburg and Derrick St. Pier and companion Rosa of Hermon; a daughter, Kristen St. Pier-Harris and husband Floyd of Canton; two brothers, Richard Morrow of Ogdensburg and Robert (Peggy) Morrow of Ogdensburg; five sisters, Frances Morrow of Ogdensburg, Amanda Morrow of Ogdensburg, Elizabeth Witherell and companion Rod Matice of Gouverneur, Penny (Andy) Roberts of Gansevoort, NY, Tina (David) Peck of Saratoga; eight grandchildren, Savannah, Madison, Conner, Bella, Holden, McKynzee, Haylee and Gabe and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and her previous husband, H. Carl St. Pier. Candy enjoyed her grandkids, dancing, scary movies and westerns.
