Obituary of Debra Lee Ormsbee
Morley--
Debra Lee Ormsbee, 53, of Pollock Road, Morley, died unexpectedly of natural causes at her home on Monday, December 11, 2017.
Calling hours will be Thursday, December 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Canton. Her funeral will be Friday, December 15th at 11 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Frank Bateman officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Heuvelton. A time of food and fellowship will be held following the burial at Char’s Bar in Morley, NY.

"Debbie" was born July 19, 1964, a daughter of Elaine D. (Mathews) Kalal and the late, Gerald Sumner Ormsbee. She was a 1982 graduate of Canton High School and later received her cosmetology degree from Vermont College of Cosmetology.
Debbie was most recently employed at SUNY Canton. Previously she worked at McAdam Cheese, Freihoffer's, Save-A-Lot, delivered mail for Norwood Post Office and she had her own beauty shop in her home.
Surviving are her mother and step-father, Elaine & Tom Kalal of Morley; her three children, Tyler (Mary Willmart) Knight of Morley, James Saber of Potsdam and Mackenzie Saber of Morley; a grandson, Sawyer Willmart-Knight; two sisters, Christine Ormsbee of Summerville, SC and Cheryl (John) McLear of Lisbon; and two nephews, Joshua Hunter and Jeffrey Hyde. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a brother Jeff in 1983.
Debbie was very creative and artistic. She enjoyed antiquing, garage sales, making crafts, flower gardening, and working on her home.
