I was so very sorry to hear of Mickey’s death. I met Mickey back in the late 1980’s through the Canton Free Library-specifically the book sale. We spent many hours sorting/selling/talking books there. She was such a lovely lady with a beautiful smile. I am so fortunate to have met her.
My sincere sympathy
Christine

She was a remarkable woman and a role model and inspiration to so many. How fortunate we all have been to have her in our lives and now in our memories.

Sorry for your loss. It is through the privilege of prayer, that a bereaved family can experience God's love and comfort in the most intimate way. May you all find comfort, as you pour out your hearts in prayer to "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." He invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Psalms 55:22; 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.

We loved Mickey. From the first time I met her in 1980--when she first volunteeered for the radio station--Mickey made all of us feel that the work we were doing was important. Mickey was so cheerful and charming. I'm at a loss for words right now but just wanted the whole family to know that your North Country Public Radio family loved Mickey, too. With condolences from all at NCPR, Ellen Rocco

Sorry to read of Mickey's passing. I was on a library board years ago with her and she just always impressed me as such a very classy woman...and always so friendly.

I met Mickey through my mother Anne Boise. Her daily walking route took her by my sister Linda's house. Linda was physically unable to go places on her own, but was often outside on her porch with her dog Lilly. Mickey took the time to stop and visit with them. Her visits were very much appreciated. Both my mother and sister predeceased Mickey so I speak for them also when I say she was a lovely lady. It was a pleasure to have known her.
