Obituary of Lallo Frank
Canton—
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Lallo Frank, 91, formerly of Maple Street, Canton, will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church, Canton with Rev. Bryan D. Stitt as celebrant.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 29th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 21 Park Street, Canton. A spring burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley or to St. Mary’s Church, Canton.
Lallo was born April 29, 1926, in Clayton, NY, the son of the late, Joseph & Rena DeCastro Franchi. He attended Canton Schools and enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17. He served as an Aviation Radioman Third Class from Jan 1, 1944 to June 3, 1946.
On January 1, 1947, he married his beloved, Beulah M. Cotter at the St. Mary’s Parsonage in Canton. Beulah died June 3, 2010.
Lallo was the owner/ operator of Band Box Cleaners, Canton from 1946-1995. He was also a member of St. Mary’s Church, Canton and a member of VFW Post #1231.
Surviving are his loving sons and daughter, Joseph & Jane, Tom & Pam, Mike & Janyce, Cindy & companion Jeff Ashley and Randy & Lisa; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Tina Binion and Mrs. Norman (Patricia) Holland, as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Lallo was first and foremost a family man. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and good Italian food, but nothing made him happier than being with family. He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
