Helen V. Harbart, 91, of Canton, formerly of Crary Mills, died Monday, May 21, 2018 at Maplewood Campus, where she was a resident since 2013.

Graveside services will be held privately in Crary Mills Cemetery.

Helen was born November 14, 1926, in Southington, CT.  A daughter of the late John &Veronica Zenuh, she graduated from Southington, CT High School, and on Aug 9, 1947, she married Wilford Harbart.  Wilford died Nov of 2001.

While living in Connecticut, she worked at Cooper Thermometer Factory, Eagle Lock Co. and was an elevator operator at Pexto Tool Company.  In 1976, the couple moved to the North Country to continue raising their family.

Surviving are two daughters, Andrea (Larry) Losey of Madrid and Kris (Carl) Wallace of Spartansburg, SC; a son, Bruce Harbart of Russell; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene of CT and a brother John of RI.  She was predeceased by two brothers and one sisters.

Helen enjoyed counting cross-stitch and antiquing with her husband.  The couple ran "The Country Barn"  antique shop on the Canton-Potsdam Road for a number years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
