Obituary of Henry Earl Trudell
Morley—
Henry E. “Hank” Trudell, 74, Rowen Road, Lisbon, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital after being stricken earlier in the day.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 4, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 21 Park Street, Canton.
Additional off-street parking behind “LUNA” at 18 Park Street.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5, at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Ladouceur officiating. VFW Post #1231 Canton will provide Military Honors at the conclusion of the service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Morley Volunteer Fire Department.
Hank was born April 1, 1944, in Massena, NY, a son of the late Donald & Catherine (Clement) Trudell. He was a graduate of Canton High School and a 25 year veteran of the US Army.
On September 11, 1967, he married his beloved wife, Lynne A. LaMothe at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Morris Plains, NJ. The couple raised three wonderful children.
Hank was a retired Carpenter/ Foreman with Bette & Cring Construction, Watertown, NY. He left his mark on St. Lawrence County, being involved in the construction of various buildings and structures at St. Lawrence University, SUNY Canton, Clarkson University, Potsdam State and the list goes on.
He was a proud member of the NRA and the Carpenter’s Union.
Surviving are his wife, Lynne; three children, Richard (Kim) Trudell, Kristen (Johnny Roberts) Falis and Chad Trudell; nine brothers and sisters, George (Cindy) Wessling, Mary (Allen) Whittaker, Vernon (Ruth) Trudell, Florence (Mike) Wright, Debbie (Pat) Wright, Linda (Terry) Bellinger, Danny (Diana) Trudell, Karen Rookey and Tina Gravelle; seven grandchildren,
Jesse Falis, Ryan Falis, Conner Falis, Ashley Jaquay, Kristen DePasquale, Kaitlyn Trudell and Alisa Trudell. Hank also had numerous nieces and nephews who were all very special to him.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Bonnie Wells.
Hank was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many activities including, hunting, fishing, camping with special friends, putting on his annual fish fry and the “shoot”.
