Obituary of Madeline Tecza

Canton—

Madeline Tecza, 90, of County Rte 21, Canton, died Monday, December 10, 2018, peacefully at her home while under the care of her family and Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 14 at 6:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Canton.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4-6 pm.

Born July 19, 1928, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late, Nicholas & Suzie (Csech) Woles.   On October 23, 1948, she married the late, Chester Tecza in Brooklyn, NY.

Madeline had worked for Pfizer Corporation, Brooklyn, NY and upon moving to the North Country, owned and operated Grandma’s Kids on the Canton-Pyrites Road.

Surviving are a son, Randolph Tecza; three daughters, Susette Tecza Kelly, Gabrielle Tecza Adamson and Elizabeth Tecza Donovan; and five grandchildren, _________, Kristina Kelly Snow, Kaitlyn Kelly Bice, Connor Adamson and Jillian Adamson.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Potsdam Humane Society.
