Obituary of MaryAnn Clarke

Graveside Services for MaryAnn H. Clarke, 73, formerly of Canton, will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10:30 AM in Evergreen Cemetery with Mother Evette Austin officiating. MaryAnn died June 25, 2014 at Regency Heights in Danielson, CT. She was born April 21, 1941, in Potsdam, NY, a daughter of the late Samuel & Mary E. (Barr) Hecht. She graduated Canton High School in 1960 and later from Albany Business School. On June 1, 1985, she married Edward A. Clarke. Mr. Clarke died Dec. 2001. A previous marriage to Robert Corbine ended in divorce. MaryAnn worked briefly as a secretary for St. Lawrence Cty- Home Extension Services. She was very active in Grace Episcopal Church and St. Lawrence Cty Hospice; was on the Evergreen Cemetery Board and the Neighborhood Center Board. She also sold AVON for 8 years. Surviving are her children, Kathy Corbine of Putnam, CT, W. Andrew Corbine of Brooklyn, CT, Jeffrey S. Corbine of Brooklyn, CT; three grandchildren and two nieces. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Grace Episcopal Church Building Fund or to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
