Curtis Hamilton, Sr., 61, of State Hwy 56, Colton, died Monday, May 13, 2019, at his home while under care of his loving family.

A time of food and fellowship and memory sharing will be held on Saturday, May 18 starting at 12 Noon at the Racquette Valley Fish & Game Club in S. Colton.

Curtis was born May 13, 1958, in Potsdam, NY a son of Perry D. Hamilton, Sr.  of S. Colton and the late June Rose (Earle) Hamilton.  He was a graduate of Colton-Pierrepont High School and recently retired from Colton Highway Department.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his children, Teri L. (Chris) Hamilton, Curtis R. (Dylan) Hamilton-LaFrance and Corey R. (Kayla) Hamilton; his wife, Sherry Hamilton; four step-children, Elaina McMillen, Andrew Frank, Wesley Frank and Kristy Randall; his siblings, Shirley (Gary) Gollinger, Perry (Laura) Hamilton, Jr., Dawn (John) Hewey and Denise (Tim) Locy.  He is also survived by his companion, Debbie Randall.

He was predeceased by his mother, June (1993), a brother, Terry (1963) and sister, Rose Marie (1955). 

Curtis was fond of working on cars and trucks and having cook-outs with family and dear friends.
