Douglas Hackney, age 64, departed this life on October 22, 2021 in Cortland, NY.
He was born July 29, 1957 in Raleigh, NC and was a son of the late Charles H. and Annie (Crowder) Hackney. He graduated Enloe High School, Raleigh, NC in 1975 and then enlisted in the US Army serving from 1976-1983.
Douglas is survived by his daughter, Leanne Price of Fayetteville, NC; siblings, Delbra R. Hackney of Laurel, MD, Marilyn (Kirk) Rogers of Raleigh, NC, Gloria Hackney Dupree of Greensboro, NC and Martin Hackney of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Derek Price, Meredith Price and Evelyn Price; and a host of other relatives and friends.
