Rest in peace, Uncle Whitney~ You lived a great life; and made your goal- a century of sights and experiences! :) - a record in our family~ (And you were one of those who set the precedent for me of marrying in our 60's..! -& with great success.. you & Betty saw 36 years together.. :)
My memories of you are forever bound with those of Dad and idyllic days growing up on the farm.. You were the quiet one, but we loved your laconic comments and sense of humor :) Then you were the only one left on his side of the family and those ties meant a great deal to me-- I am so glad I had the visits with you I did in later years- only wish I could have been closer to see you more often.. We love you greatly~
