Ogdensburg- Amelia Marie Samarco, 11 mos., of Ogdensburg died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at her home. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Memorial contributions are graciously being accepted at Lawrence Funeral Home, 21 Park Street, Canton, NY 13617. Amelia was a daughter to Deborah Marcellus and Trevor Samarco and was born May 18, 2021 in Ogdensburg, NY. On her mother’s side she is survived by her mother, Deborah; grandmother Maxine Peets; sister Destiny Marcellus; brothers Jacob and Noah Marcellus; Aunt Tiffany Legault and cousins Coleman, Jr. and Raykayla, Zara, Clayton and Calyx; Uncle Joe Peets and cousins Bishop and Shepard; Uncle Eric Peets and cousins Oliver and Vanessa. Predeceased by brother Dylan Marcellus; Great Aunt Donna; Great Gram Ruth Peets; and Great Grampa Victor Skroders. On her father’s side she is survived by her father Trevor; brother Liam Samarco; Grandfather Frank (Ann Geary) Samarco; Great-Grandmother Marilyn Combs; Aunt Nicole (Dylon Laflur) Samarco and cousins Cole, Collin, Colby and Cullen; and Uncle Jimmy (Cassidy) Samarco. Predeceased by Grandmother Marie Carter; Great-Grandfather Frank Samarco, Sr.; and Great-Grandfather Ed Combs. Amelia got the nickname “Branch” from the Animated Movie “Trolls” because she made the same facial expression’s as she was just as spiritual and animated as he was.
