Ron was a great man. Very devoted to his work and the people he worked with and for. United Helpers has definitely lost a great man.
Rest in Peace, Ron. I enjoyed working with you and the time and attention that you gave to my husband in the recent 2 years.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Dad. I worked with Ron for many years at Maplewood. He was a good man and I know that the greatest happiness in his life was his daughters. He spoke of you proudly and often. He will surely be missed.

Kara and Jordan, you have my deepest condolences. Your dad was a good man and he was a lot of fun. But, you already know that.
Ron, we had some fun times. Spring break in Myrtle Beach, you got a quick course in driving a standard transmission.
Late nights working at the store, closing at midnight and leaving for Dexter so we could be there at dawn for the salmon run.
Learning to downhill ski at Titus Mountain, I am sure there are people still laughing about the two kooks on the slopes.
Sitting in an aluminum boat in the St. Lawrence river, during a lightning storm, reasoning that it was ok, because the lightning was on the Canadian side.
Many evenings at the Potsdam Summer Festival, listening to bands and watching the people. I am sure that I will forget and scan the crowd in anticipation, before remembering that those were joys of the past.
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on now
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see.
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you'll never change.
Won't you fly high, free bird, yeah.
(Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird 1973)
Yes, you will be remembered cuz...RIP
