Mom...
I knew I had a wonderful mother-in-law and then I started spending a lot of intimate time with you over the past 2 months...and wow...My blessings just increased.
After appointments we had a car lunch dates, we drove back roads home (one of her favorite things to do and reminisced, we had long, late nights with a mix of emotions and tears - I definitely know Bower more now). Some of the stories she told...well lets says they were so her and made you smile.
We laughed, cried, shared secrets, she loved each of you more than you may know...and I got to see more of her true spirit and literally every other part of her through this.
When Jim and I talked about bringing her home, we had a family meeting, then talked with Mom and Frank ... this... family... came together...it was hard, it was draining, emotional and beautiful in many ways. I am proud of my husband Jim, Calvin, and Bryan for how they managed this (BOTH OF YOUR PARENTS ARE TOO) and our extended family and friends who rallied in many ways to support and give her the comfort and love she deserved. Frank loved and supported her through this, and I know she is grateful for that love.
We had ‘our routines’ and she was sweet, grateful, thoughtful, and so damn strong through all of this, ...she is a gem!
My parents were worried about me, and I told them...Jim and I were meant to do this, and I would do the same for them...they raised me right and showed me the love and strength I needed to help her...added blessing.
I’ve been in this family 22 years – I was able to thank her for my gifts of her, Jim, and this family.
The memories for all of us are special...hold them tight, whatever that is for you. Her love for each and every one of you was special and true.
To name a few, for me.
-Her ‘indulging’ and dirty dancing with me at the kids graduation parties, after we got out of the hot tub.
-Calling me mommy or saying yes mommy was an inside joke) through this and giving me that smirk...you all know it.
There’s so many...and I will miss and cherish them all.
-The day before she passed, she was a mix of what we knew and rambling...when she came back, she was amazing...
Her last bite of food was beans...she tried for us and did not want them...
AMBER...you said to her? (Beans, beans, the magical fruit. The more you eat the more you toot.....)
NOT missing a beat mom said...The more you toot, the better you feel-so let’s have beans with every meal.
Needless to say, we had a good laugh with her, and she loved to make us smile and laugh.
I’m thankful for my struggle because without it.
I wouldn’t have stumbled across my strength.
She loved to make and see you smile, she knew how to have fun, was understanding, forgiving, patient and spunky with lots of sparkle.
Ione, Cathy, and Derek send their love-we all do.
Mom, Jeanette, Gram, GG, hon, friend, Jeanettie...whatever you called her...you loved her, and she loved you fiercely...never forget that, let her love and infectious spirit shine on through you.
We will miss you here...we are grateful for our time with you, love you deeply and are glad you are not suffering.
You will always be with us...we will see you again one day.... Shine on...your work is not done; you have left a wonderful legacy and family to follow your example.
Thank you, Mom Rose....Love Pam

A recent memory I have of my beloved aunt was the day she stopped by my place of employment to introduce her companion, Frank Carter. I was so pleased she (they) had taken the time to do so. On every occasion where I spent any time with her she was sparkling, full of fun and joy, even up until my last opportunity to visit with her in early April. Just knowing her was a comfort. She was one very special person and our lives are diminished with her loss.

My sincere sympathy to The family of Jeanette. She was a great lady for sure. I have known her since the lunch room in high school, to doing her LONG beautiful hair for many years. I was so glad to see her after many years at an anniversary party for Jerry and Andrea Rood. We had a great catch up conversation that day and she reminded me that she was related to my husband on the Rood side. May she rest now and you be able to full your hearts with great memories of the family time spent with her, on these difficult days ahead.

I will remember this vibrant, loving and joyful woman as the Aunt who gave me strength just by being, as I maneuvered through my life's often difficult past. Strength just in the fact that I knew her. I once sat for her and my Uncle Bowers sons when she was working. She would come home and ask how my day at school had been, then asked about her sons. It was a treasure that she asked me how my day had gone. I loved her for that little bit of thoughtfulness. She was kind, considerate and loving. Boy! She sure loved my Uncle and those 3 boys. She was a wonderful Aunt.
