Obituary of Erica Kay Waters, Esq.

Albany

Erica Kay Waters, Esq., age 32, passed away on the evening of October 30, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Canton, New York. She earned her bachelor's degree from Randolph-Macon College in Virginia, graduating early, and graduated from Albany Law School of Union University in 2015, again remarkably graduating early.

Among her survivors are her significant other, David I. Iversen, of Albany; her parents, Rolf and Yvonne Waters, of Slingerlands; her brother, Camron Waters, of Rochester; and her maternal grandparents, John and Kay Mcintosh, of Canton, along with several cousins. She also leaves behind her supportive best friend, Asa Neff, and his two children, Thomas and Abigail Neff. She treated Thomas and Abigail as if they were her own and they gave her incredible comfort and support over the past year.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 21 Park Street, Canton.
