Lorraine MacDonald, 93, of Miner Street, Canton, died Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
A graveside service will be held in Beech Plains Cemetery, Pierrepont in the summer.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Lorraine was born November 20, 1930 in Pierrepont a daughter to the late Mahlon and Marion (Wright) Leonard. She graduated Colton-Pierrepont Central School in 1948.
On November 20, 1956 she married the late Laurence MacDonald in Ft. Edward, NY. Laurence passed in 2009.
Lorraine worked in food service for Potsdam State University for 14 years.
Surviving are her four daughters: Glenna (Gerald) Beaulieu, Rhonda (Terence) Robert, Marion (Dennis) Beaulieu, Marla MacDonald; one step-son Jeffrey MacDonald; a sister Mavis Guyette; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
