Lillian E. “Peekie” Flanagan, 86, of North Woods Road died Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at her home while under the loving care of her family and Hospice.

Calling hours and her funeral will be held privately on Saturday, March 16 at Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Canton.  Burial will be in Beech Plains Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.

Lillian was born June 30, 1937 in Pyrites, NY.  She was a daughter of the late Frank E. and Lena (Lottie) Waldo and attended Pyrites Schools.

On June 30, 1955 she married her beloved Guy Rolland “Jake” Flanagan in the Town of Pierrepont.  Jake passed away October 27, 2023.  They are together again.

Lillian worked at the Moongate Nursing Home in Canton, NY for 25 years as a kitchen aide.  Some of her interests included cooking, old time country music, playing cards, watching the birds and word search puzzles.  Most dear to her was her home and precious time spent with her loving family.

Surviving are her children and their spouses: Scott and Tammy Flanagan, Vicky and Bee Sharpstene, Kathy VanBrocklin and Kevin “Jocko” Winnie and Darlene and Doug Matthews.  She is also survived by four brothers, two sisters, twelve grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
