Obituary of Ronald R Hills

Canton, NY-

Ronald “Ron” R. Hills, 64, of Irish Settlement Road, Canton died April 22, 2024 at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh after a brief stay.

Ron was a son of Keith Fanjoy and the late Wendy Segar Hills. He was born July 16, 1959 in Dexter, Maine and a graduate of Canton High School.

Ron was the owner/ operator of A-1 Auto Detailing in Canton for a number of years.  Previously he worked at Chilton’s CITGO Station in Canton.

Surviving are his son Derrick (Kaylee) Hills of Russell NY; biological father Keith (Lorna) Fanjoy of ME; his companion Colleen Sheridan of Pyrites NY; five siblings Randy (Vicki) Hills of KY, Kyle Hills of NC, Reanette ( David “Stubby”) Shoulette of Canton NY, Brent (Eileen) Fanjoy of ME and Brian (Kathy) Fanjoy of ME; two granddaughters Aubrey and Payton Hills; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother Wendy Hills, adopted father Arnold Hills and a brother Darren Hills.

Ron enjoyed hunting and especially precious time with his two granddaughters.
