Final Words for Mom & Dad,
You know they say things happen for a reason. I truly believe they do. I believe that Mom & Dad had the house fire for a reason. I believe God saved them from the house fire so they could come to Canton and live out the rest of their years with no worries or cares. Everyone loved Mom & Dad and why wouldn't you...with Dad flirting with the girls and with the devilish smile you knew he was up to no good. You always knew he was coming down the hall when you head him say "WHO WHO" ( that was his way of getting everyone's attention.) then you had Mom with her walker so full of teddy bears that they would fall all over the place when she walked down the hall. When Mom fell and broke her hip and arm and she went to rehab...I heard words come out of her mouth that I had never heard her say in my entire life. Needless to say she never got well enough to go back to the Assisted Living, but had a room on the skilled side next to her beloved friend, Genny. Dad would spend everyday with Mom and then go back to his room in the ALP each night. He missed her dearly at night. You know Mom and Dad were never apart so it was hard for both of them. I started to call Mom "Mama" and Dad would laugh and say I love it when you call her that so, that is what I have called her over the past few years. When Dad passed Ma Ma truly missed him. She would look for him and say "Where is Rich, he always tells me where he is going." I would tell her that he his fine and in a safe place. Well, then this little stuffed dog came into the picture, "Blackie", who filled the void form Mom. He slept with her, ate with her and I mean literally ate with her as she fed him. So, Blackie would have to go to the spa to get cleaned up every once and awhile and she was lost without him. When she got him back she was at peace again. Mom will hold Blackie forever. Well Mama....Papa has been waiting for you in heaven. I am sure that you both are strolling over heaven together holding hands again as the words say in Alan Jackson's song, "I Want to Stroll over Heaven with You." I heard this song and just thought of Mom and Dad. We will all truly miss you both everyday. Thank you for all the wonderful memories that you gave us. We will cherish you both in our hearts forever and ever. We all love you both dearly!
Amen.

My heart goes out to all of you. I know your hearts are broken. I loved my visits with my Aunt and Uncle on the farm. Both were so proud of thier cats and dog. Seems like yesterday when I had dinner with them.
Now they are together again.
I always smiled when uncle Richard called her my Philly.
Love you Penny Tamarra and Chloe'

, I got to know Rich and 'Phylly' ,as her loving husband called her. when they lived on their farm in LaFargeville. I was struck by Phylly's love of her cats, dogs and chickens. Sadly I lost touch with both of them when their farmhouse burned and they moved to St. Lawrence County.
But God works in wonderful ways! Just two weeks ago I was visiting the nursing home where Phyllis has been living the past several years and saw her in the community room enjoying some gospel music. I sat with her for a few moments, remembering her and her husband. I commented to her how wonderful she looked. Those few moments together again were really special. I was saddened to see that she had passed but know that being together again with her dear husband is where she now resides!
