Phyllis Dolores Osborne Kennell, 90, formerly of LaFargeville, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Maplewood Campus in Canton, N Y, where she was a resident since 2013.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 21 Park Street, Canton with Lay Minister Frank Carter officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Graveside services for both Richard & Phyllis will be held on Tuesday, May 8th at 11 AM in Beaver Falls Cemetery.

Born August 14, 1927, in Beaver Falls, Town of New Bremen, she was a daughter of the late Arthur & Mayetta Farney Osborne.  She graduated from Beaver Falls School and on September 27, 1947, she married her beloved husband Richard Joseph Kennell at the Beaver Falls Methodist Church.  The couple moved to Maplewood Campus after a house fire in LaFargeville.

Mrs. Kennell was a machine operator at Beaverite Manufacturing for a number of years, but she was known as a loving wife and mother who enjoyed helping her husband on the farm.

Surviving are her three daughters, Brenda Kennell Jones of Canton, Cindy Kennell of Clayton and Judy Kennell Richardson of LasVegas, NV. She will also be remembered by two grandsons, Jeff and Robert Jones and a granddaughter, Tina Glywa-Peters of Everett, WA.

Mrs. Kennell was an Auxillary Member of both the American Legion and VFW. She enjoyed her cats, crocheting, gardening, doing puzzles and more recently playing BINGO with her Maplewood family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Maplewood Campus Activities Department 205 State Street Road, Canton, NY 13617 or to the Beaver Falls Cemetery Association.
