I didn’t know Bob but just today saw his note on Glenn Uhler Hoffman’s obituary of 2013 and was shocked he was a roommate with Rod Snowhite and Glenn. I came to Richland Wa in 1958 and roomed with Glenn and Rod up to about 1960. I was Rod’s best man at his wedding. What a coincidence Duane

I worked with Bob for many years at SUNY CANTON. He was a fine faculty member who cared greatly for his students, his coworkers, and the college.
He was the best department chairman I worked with at SUNY CANTON. He had a talent for getting the best out of his staff, and was able to help faculty correct their deficiencies and improve their performance while still maintaining a cordial relationship.
We also enjoyed many a good time in the coffee room, making fun of everyone and everything that we could think of.
May he rest in peace.
