i am so sorry to read about Dean today while actually looking for another obituary of a friends son. had i read this when it happened, I would have come to the funeral home to see you and given you a hug.

I am so sorry to hear of Deanos sudden passing. I just saw him in January after many years and talked about our times as kids. I am grateful to have been able to see him and will miss him.

As A young child you were my hero like my other uncles that drove that stretch of road from Pierrepont to belmat daily. Be it's in a black Pete or a white Mack you have traveled and paved a path in life that is something to be admired.as life has taken me and my own path and has kept us apart The Limited adult time we have had together makes it more special to me. take Trixie on a hunt it's overdue. As a kid, I have fond memories of my brother and I watching for Uncle Dean's Tractor Trailor to come off the side road. We would run as fast as we could--pump our arms up and down, just to have him blow the whistle... He was always grinning ear to ear.. Window down, and waving. Occasionally, he would stop and pick us up. It was the high light of our day..
He may have never told us, but we felt the love that he had for us kids. I hope that today he is still smiling down knowing how much we all loved and looked up to him.
RIP Uncle Dean.
