May Beverly's family and friends be comforted by God's promise to "Swallow up death forever, and wipe away every tear from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) Remembering too the promise of the Resurrection hope, for both the Unrighteous and Righteous.(Acts 33:24)

Mrs. Creasy was one of those teachers you never forget. She had a sense of humor but also knew how to keep a class in line. I saw her a few years ago and was amazed and touched that she remembered me from over 30 years ago. The world has truly lost a special person.

My condolences to you and yours. I too, had Mrs. Creasy as a social studies teacher. I remember her humor, wit and "THE YARD STICK", which "MR. PUTNEY" (Gehrig Putney) bore the blunt of in our class (1989). She was firm, some may say very firm, but always fair.
Just the other day I thought of her and "THE STICK", remembering them both very FONDLY, as I sat in my kindergarten class giggling to myself. {In a thought bubble...Those were the days!!!} I pride myself in being firm but fair too.
She will be greatly missed, but take comfort in knowing she meant a lot of things to a lot of people. She was a true blessing to all that knew her. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. God Bless.

I would like to send my condolences to Mrs. Creasy's family, and friends. I like many was a student of hers. I'm sure her family has heard the story of the student that broke her pointer/ruler, I am that student. A few months ago I spoke with my mom who told me that she stopped to vist Mrs. Creasy and told me Mrs. Creasy retold the story. After all these years, I can remember it like it happened yesterday.

To all of Mrs. Creasy's family and friends,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your mom, your friend, your family member. I, as many others here have posted, was fortunate enough to have Mrs. Creasy for my 8th grade social studies teacher. She truly was passionate about her profession and although social studies wasn't my favorite subject, she made it more enjoyable and interesting because she was so passionate. She was one of the many educators at MWCS that left a lasting impression and that made you realize it would be nice to enjoy what you do for a living. You could tell that she did. She was full of spunk, fun, carried that ruler no like other....lol! She was strict, but well respected.
My sincere condolences to all.

So sorry for your families loss. Mrs.Creasy was my teacher at Madrid-Waddington. She saw something in me that no one else did.I was often over looked as a trouble maker, she knew I was smart,so she cept me after school and during study hall to help her grade paper's. It made me feel important and she never talked down to me. She gave me such confidence. Even in the later years before I graduated I would stop by to see her.She asked me what I was going to do when I graduated. She encouraged me to stay out of trouble and that I could be more than just a poor girl living in Madrid. So I became a teacher for 25 years she was in my head ,and because of her I gave many children a good start in life . It was all I needed ,back then was someone to believe in me and she gave me that. She will be forever remembered in my lifetime. Yvonne

Barb and Tori...very sorry to hear about your mom. We are lucky to have both of Ron's parents in pretty good health for their ages.
Do either of you share your mom's love for golf? That is where I would see Bev...at the golf course!
Take care...Carol and Ron

Barb, Tori, and families,
We send our deepest condolences to you. Your mom was a special person to us, especially when working on luncheons and dinners in the St Mary's school cafeteria. She also enjoyed needling me over things at the cemetery. Again, she will be missed and we send our love and prayers with her and to you all.

It was with a heavy heart that I read of Mrs. Creasy's passing. Although I have not seen her in almost 30 years, she made a lasting impression on me. Her love for her students and her subject were obvious, and she is one of many teachers I had at MWCS that taught me by example that a passion for your chosen occupation makes your life so much more enjoyable. I thank her for that every day. My condolences to her family and friends; may you be comforted by the knowledge that her life touched so many, so deeply.

I will never forget the first day at Madrid Waddington and my first free period with Bev in the bomb shelter at the high school. I learned many things from her but one thing for sure she loved what she did. I remember the between period talks with Hal, Bev, Larry, Sharon and the rest. She was a great teacher, loved the kids and always was a great supporter for doing what was right. She was a true "old fashion" teacher and I will miss her and hope that she has found eternal peace. Bev was a volunteer at St. Mary's School when I was the principal there. Bev was a reliable office helper. The children liked to talk with her. She was helpful in many ways in the running of the school and school activities. I am grateful for her willing spirit. May she rest now in peace with God.
