this came a shock for me to hear of Dicks passing. I have many fond memories of working with Dick at Lawrence's. going out for breakfast or just washing vehicle's and shooting the breeze. Cant remember the details but one late night he let me drive his truck home so my wife didn't have to drive to canton to get me. how could I forget the many stops at the Grist Mill for a bite to eat on our way home from Syracuse.

Pat and boys, seeing a familiar name in the obituaries always brings back memories. I think of the SLVDC and your two English Cockers. I can see Dick as a tall presence, always laughing and joking and holding dogs. My Tom has been gone for just over 25 years now. But I still have the farm and the Australian Cattle Dogs. Pat, David, Scott and Chris,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and with your extended families. Canton has lost another outstanding gentleman; he was always a gentle giant with his family or the community. I saw so much of his father, Reggie and my Dad, Maurice in his unassuming mannerisms. I remember when we were young and running around the house on Riverside Drive with Aunt Ethel telling us to calm down. Good memories, I was proud to call him my cousin.
