Bill is the Icon for a TRUE GENTLEMAN...
i recall first meeting Bill when he worked at the Western Auto Store when it was about where JRECK Subs is now...I was just a young kid in my single digits but he impressed me!
Thoughts and prayers are with Bill's immediate family and of course Jack and Tim, too.

I was sad to read in the Canton Presbyterian Church newsletter that Bill Webb (a "pillar of the church") had died. Our family was part of that church from the late 50s to the late 70s, and Mr. and Mrs. Webb were pillars of the church even then. They were loving parents, not only to their own kids, but to all of us kids -- and role models of "faith in action." I'm so grateful. With love to the Webb family from the Dittman family,
Sharon Dittman

Hard to speak of Bill without speaking too of Lorna. What a team! Bill was a fine gentleman who gave much of himself to our community. Such a pleasure to encounter him at church or around town and to be greeted by that deep voice and pleasant smile. To all the family I extend condolences at Bill's passing yet take heart in the knowledge that he and Lorna are united once again.

I moved to Canton in early 60's. Bill was working at the St Lawrence National Bank and I believe a loan officer at that time eventually becoming a VP. He helped me get established in Canton with much needed bank loans. One of the most descent caring person one could ever meet.

I attended church with Bill and Lorna in Canton for a decade. They were the loveliest people, always kind and giving, and always a smile on their faces. We are all the better for having known them.

To Bill's Family,
I am sorry to hear he passed away. I knew him when I worked at St Lawrence National/Community Bank. I also knew your mother. Both were the nicest people I knew. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am very sorry to hear of Bill's passing!
I didn't know Bill or Lorna well, but my memory will be of a very loving couple, who were very family oriented.
I am one of Bill's first cousins, Linda Reid, daughter of Horace and Stella(Bradshaw)Casey, from Belleville, Ontario.
I do know that Bill will be dearly missed, by all who knew him.
❤️ Linda

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the lost of your father and grandfather, ‘Bill’.
He and my husband, Garnet Sills, who was one of his Canadian cousins, and being of the same age they had much in common so maintained their friendship over their lifetimes.
A tradition began a number of years ago where we met every summer, on one side of the border or the other, for lunch. That connection was looked forward to and will be missed.

Paula, Pam, Jan & Ruth: I am so sorry. The Webbs had many great family reunions at your camp on the lake when we were all kids. Uncle Bill was a lot of fun to be around & always smiling. I wish I could come up there but I now have Covid. Prayers for all of you.
