Going back to Brick Chapel will never be the same without My usual chat with Lawrence. He was such a special person and he was tireless in his service wherever he was needed. I’ll miss him, and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

What a loss to the family and the community!!
He was such a great man and certainly showed it when the call came to build a new fire station. He and Dick Lobdell worked incredibly hard and long hours at raising money via raffles and appearances at all the events....Larry had the truck to carry whatever they were raffling off (snowblower, lawn mower, etc.) and went wherever, whenever they saw the opportunity to help get the job done!
A few attributes that come to mind when thinking of Lawrence.. (all EXTREMELY) honest, sincere, devotion, humble, caring, willingness to help, hard working, friendly, thrifty, reasonable
Town of Canton likely does not have a real idea how much he thought of the taxpayers and how much he saved them.
He will be missed !
True condolences to Shirley, David, Danny and Debby..

Shirley and family, so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Such a nice man and Dad sure enjoyed his friendship over many many years. I'm sure they are up there rehashing their careers breeding cows..and having alot of laughs. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Cindy Russell
